I proudly serve on both the Mosquito Abatement Board and North Davis Fire District Board, bringing local perspective to decisions that affect our daily lives. When I'm not serving the community, I treasure time with my family and beloved dogs. I love hunting for elephant antiques in our local shops and supporting veterans alongside my daughter through Utah Agent Orange Veterans events.

She attends city council meetings and city events regularly, and is an active member of the community. As a mother, homeschooling parent, and substitute teacher for Davis School District, she is acutely aware of the needs of the families in this area.

Katherine graduated from BYU with a degree in Psychology. She believes that listening and connecting are the two most important ways to strengthen the community. Katherine would strive to find better ways to communicate important information and get more people involved in this city’s decision-making process so there are no surprises. She believes in having transparency in government decisions.

As a city council member, Katherine would like to foster community through local events and citizen involvement. She wants to improve the parks for our children, and make this town a place that people are happy to call home. She is also prepared to stand up to Utah’s state legislators when they enact laws that negatively impact small cities. Katherine would be proud to represent Sunset.
