Safety Resources

Sunset City Police Department values the safety of all our residents, especially our younger members of the community. As motorcycles, ATVs, e-bikes, electric scooters, and other electric vehicles become increasingly popular, we want to help parents and riders understand the laws and safety requirements that apply to these vehicles.

Please take a few minutes to review the information below, make sure you understand the requirements for the type of vehicle your child is using, and go over these important safety guidelines with them before allowing them to ride or operate any of these vehicles.

Knowing the rules, using the proper safety equipment, and making responsible choices can help keep our children, families, and entire community safe!
